Style Corner: Serena van der Woodsen

Hola fellow Gossip Girl addicts. It's the Diabetic here. I've decided to start a "Fashion Corner" which will be done the following Tuesday of each episode and will feature some of the best outfits from the week's episode. This week's episode, "High Infidelity", really accentuated Serena's fabulous wardrobe. Serena loves to wear bright colors and high heels and pretty much anything that screams "BOOBS!".
Serena's first outfit of the episode fit her perfectly. Her gorgeous  blue Marc by Marc Jacobs dress fit her height and allowed for her to show her boobs (it's a must for SVDW). Paired with this dress were a pair of Christian Louboutin's unzipped heeled sandals in a perfect pink. You can order these exact shoes from Neiman Marcus right now for only $1,595.00! (lolzcatz) Last but not least, Serena equipped her outfit with a Fendi shoulder bag which probz costs more than my house. This outfit was absolutely stunning with her hair pulled back; however, most you probably did not notice anything about Serena since she was standing next to Nate. It happens.
Next we see Serena hosting her very first party as part of "Adult Manhattan" in a blue dress that, personally, I thought was a total disaster. My first thought was "are you pregnant?", but others may beg to differ. It was too ruffly and down right obnoxious. Come on, S. You can do better than that. The only impressive aspect of this outfit was her hair. Serena's uncontrollable, flowing, golden hair always looks fab and this case was no different. A messy bun looked anything but messy and was quite elegant. Maybe this failure of a dress was foreshadowing the dramatic scenes between "Nage" (Sage and Nate) and Sereven (Serena and Steven)? in conclusion, Serena was not thinking right that night.
The last outfit Serena displays is a combination of perfect-for-fall articles. First, we have her orange, Alice & Olivia top and her sheer, maxi skirt. These two pieces compliment each other well with their orange shades. And now for my favorite part: shoes. Of course, ma gurl is struttin' up a storm in a pair of  Louboutin's. These shoes are easily spotted by their always present red soles and the occasional surface covered in spikes. These hot mamas go for about $2-3,000.  All great colors and absolutely magnificent.
So basically, Serena van der Woodsen is a goddess in the fashion department and I love her. If you want to look like SVDW, hit up your local Sak's or Neiman Marcus. If you want to see what designers the stars wear, visit http://www.gossipgirlfashion.net/.

XOXO,
The Diabetic

(P.S. My house just flooded)
(P.P.S Not even kidding. But I'm all good.)
